- यो Network of network हो ।
- यसलाई global network of computers पनि भनिन्छ।
- Internet भनेकै International Network हो ।
- यसमा विश्वका लाखौ computer हरू Worldwide Network मार्फत जो डिएका हुन्छन् ।
- यसको मुख्य ध्येय भनेको नै file, information share गर्ने रहेको हुन्छ।
- Internet को पहुँच र प्रभाव असीमित रहेको हुन्छ।
- सन् १९६० मा USA को Department या Defence (DoD) को उच्च अनुसन्धान र सुरक्षा सम्बन्धी संगठनले गरेको थियो।
- यसको थालनी ARPAnet (Advance Research Project Administration Emergency) ले थालनी गरेको थियो । यसलाई foundation या Internet भनिन्छ ।
❖ Internet ले प्रदान गर्ने सेवाहरू
🢒World Wide Web (www)
- सन् १९९० मा Tim Berners-Lee भन्ने Software Engineer ले Develop गरेका हुन् ।
- Internet बाट Information हरू आदानप्रदान गर्ने माध्यम नै www हो ।
- यो Internet Server को system हो, जसले specially formatted documents तयार पारिएको documents लाई गर्दछ । जस्तैः Text documents जो HTML language मा तयार पारिएको हुन्छ।
- यसले Text, Image, animation, video, sound लाई Represent गर्दछ |
- यो documents हरूको collection हो ।

★Eudora, Microsoft outlook & Netscape messenger (Main) program हो ।
★ छिटो, छरितो र सस्तो रुपमा documents हरू exchange गर्न यस्को प्रयोग गरिन्छ।

✡Webpage
- World wide web धेरै files हरूले बनेको हुन्छ, जसले information contain गरेको हुन्छ । जस्तो की व्यक्ति वा संगठनको बारेमा।
✡ Upload
- Upload refers to copying files or documents or programs or data form users computer to the internet.
✡Download
- Download refers to copying files or documents or programs or data from the internet server to the user's computer.
✡URL
- Web page provides information about a place, person, organization or any other objects. Each webpage has a unique address, called a uniform Resource locator that provides location on the internet.
✡ Web Browse
-यो एक प्रकारको application software हो ।
-वेभ page हरू access र display गराउँदछ ।
